Caspian Tern (USA) |
A stroll along Spanish Bay, near Monterey, California, USA, found this male Caspian Gull suddenly shocked to discover that a Gull had taken the "prize" he had caught for his mate. The reaction was shock, followed by a violent, noisy, but eventually unsuccessful chase, by both Terns, to retrieve it. | April 2009 |
